17 yr old's B16 project ! turbo help!
Alright heres the deal.. < LOL ?
Im 17 (ambitious) and Im getting this 2000 Honda si (w/ rims/exhaust) from an auction, car looks clean from the outside and inside isnt that bad ..just the stereo theft < Fmfl ..
(i thought to myself, f**** it with the muscle cars ..so i sold my mustang with the twin turbo kit i bought from ebay -.-)
Well it has a b16a2 with 129xxxkms, 160 ponies correct me if im wrong.
Iv been looking around ebay and found this turbo kit > http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...K%3AMEWAX%3AIT
Asked a few questions to the seller like how much hp would it give to a stock b16 and he said around 100hp, also asked him about what else i could buy to make more power such as engine internals and whatever, he said fuel pump, tuned ecu, injectors and for boost pistons/rods, valve train kit .. Seems about right dont you think ? Probably more so thats why i made this, YOU tell me what else.
I dont have a job so easy on me, only have around 5 grand in my pocket now, and paying around 1500 - 2000 for the car alone. i searched up what he told me on ebay and found some
Now..Ebay can be a bit bs, out of all those the only one i trust is the pistons/eagle rods because iv heard many good comments about them before.
Now for the others, i need some help on where i can get the parts that are real and reliable .
My goal here is trying to get around 300 horsepower with somewhat low psi, over the months im going to be buying some more parts so il need opinions on what il need to reach my goal.
Pictures..sorry getting used to forums

nevermind the fact that his civic is almost bone stock and he has a family to take care of.
And I would have to agree with him (tbohar) on that one

and even if you still want to pursue the turbo deal, get a job and save up to do it the right way. 5g's may be enough to get what you need to put under the hood, but until you get it PROPERLY TUNED, your car's a fuggin time bomb.
P.S. Go ahead and hate on me for "spending money the right way." I got more **** on my car than you can afford right now.

Hmm... my ten inch pioneers were bought 7 years ago when I was in the same mindset as you. Wasting money... They are absolutely worthless so instead of selling them, I might as well use them until they are dead. My ten inch pioneers are also not going to destroy my car, like your ebay turbo will. So essentially, your going to spend money to destroy an engine. I have learned my lesson.
In reality, your OP just shows how inexperienced you are. Not just with cars, but with life as well. So, until you educate yourself to at least a small extent, stop talking ****. Because you will lose.
Now, I'm being nice... for now.
P.S. It's kinda sad a 17 year old can't take a joke and shrug something off. Or maybe read between the lines and learn something.
