new in town

so whats up guys im new in town in a matter of speaking and im sure the info im going to ask about is here some were barred deep in the forums but its just easier for me to ask again since my internet connection sucks here in good lod Afghanistan me and my wife are planing on making an over the top inport tuner and we have settled on the civic for what we hope is ease of working on and parts availability and cheaper over all cause the first thing we need to do however is actually procure are civic im thinking the 6th gen would be best due to the over all base design of it and one last thing i have noticed is mosr people on this forum are saying eather short ram intake or cold air im planning on getting a hood with a scoop or some other venting so im wondering why not do a strate up old facend ram air intake?? im sure it will be good for it i meen it might as well be a short ram and cold air all in one thanks guys
