Window Motor/Regulator?
Window Motor/Regulator?
Hi,
I have a '99 Civic EX with only 102k miles...granted it's still 11 years old. I got the car about 6 months ago and first noticed the windows are slow both going up and down, more so up. The auto express down usually works on the driver's side, but sometimes stops half-way down. Once I press the button again, it goes down....however both are pretty slow coming up. I want to fix them fairly soon so I don't end up in a situation with my windows stuck down and it raining or something.....any ideas? They always go down and up, just are fairly slow...

Re: Window Motor/Regulator?
Your motors might be wearing out, if you are handy take the door apart and the regulator and motors can be taken apart, go buy one motor pretty cheap and attach it to the regulator and see if that makes a difference.
