motor and transmission swap

can i put my motor in trans out of a 97 honda civic into a 2000 civic if so what mod will i need to make

Quickly looking at the location of everything, yeah you should be able to bolt the engine in without too much extra effort. Looks like everything is in almost the same exact place. As long as you've got the money and time to do it.

No mods, just plug and play. Be sure to get the new engine ECU for the new engine as well (unless it's the same as you are taking out).

Plug and play is the word bit change the motor mounts stock ones just don't cut it. Hassport makes great products I would recommend those for any swap.
