i like my weapon-r secret weapon. filter is one of the best (oiled foam with excellent flow and filtration) and quiet sound. the dragon is no good.

I have heard good things and bad things bout the weapon r intake but I have never had one so I really dont know how it is. But Aem has always has had its high rep for performance parts. If you want the noise in the intake then your best bet is the Aem. One of the best short ram intakes that aem has made is the V2.

I have had Aem intakes before and they have proven themselves but I personally like making my own custom sri now. I always use the aem or k&n air filters though.

I have had the AEM short ram on two of my eks. they are simple, cheap, perform well, and have the dry flow filter. I just got my Injen short ram in the mail today though. it comes with the AmsOil washable filter. But yea GearBox i have heard good things about the Weapon R secret intake. Almost bought that one instead.

If you want noise, go to auto-zone and get one of those long shiny tubes they have hanging by the filters. It'll be louder and save you a little bit of money.

I had the AEM V2 intake and it was amazing. The sound is throaty and makes it sound mean as hell. The weapon r is a cheap way to a temp fix.

A pipe is a pipe, and you still get the good filter. Just make sure it's the same diameter.

^ Exactly, a pipe is a pipe there is no difference in them unless its the diameter. Another reason why I make my own.
