2000 Exhaust

Whats up guys just bought a 2000 Ex completley stock. I just sold my other ex and decided to buy another one as a project car. Anyways, im a little tight on $$ but i wanna get an Exhaust for it. Im not sure what parts I need for a good sounding exhaust. I dont want a shity exhaust that sounds like cans rattling. Im sure all you guys know exactly what i need so thanks for any feedback.

Re: 2000 Exhaust

I hope you fix your exhaust, as they make a very disturbing buzzing sound when they are not operating properly. When I go out for a leisurely drive in my civic, usually on a nice weekend afternoon, I sometimes will notice other fellow civic owners who seem to have a deteriorated exhaust system, and the car exhibits a rather unusual bumble bee or weed wacker sound. I wave to them and inform them of their exhaust troubles, and they usually laugh for God knows what reason. But I always try to help them. Many youngsters seem to have this exhaust problem these days. I guess they just don't make quality exhaust these days as like they did when I was a youngster.

I am simply providing some helpful insight to a fellow car owner. Is it because I am a senior citizen that you are giving me the business? My old age should be no reason to be harsh towards me.

Re: 2000 Exhaust

Well you should keep your comments on keeping the civic stock to yourself. This is a place for honda civic owners to chat and give info on them. Not to tell everyone in the forum over and over to keep the civic stock cause that is all that you have said for all the posts you have posted. If you dont like the fact that people want to do stuff to there car then gtfo.
