Input needed on rim color..

I just bought a stock 99ex and the first thing I did was get rid of the steelies.
I found a cheap set of ls mesh wheels online painted black.
My car is white and I was thinking about a few different options that might look a little cleaner.

Leave them black.

Black with a polished lip.

Gold/Bronze with a polished lip.

Re: Input needed on rim color..

I already bought them and that is my car in the picture lol
Just needed input on if I should change the color up

I have not had it very long so thats all I have done so far.

I was just going to get the tires removed and put the rims on the car while it's in the air and polish the lip..

honestly, I do not think you can polish that lip if it is reg alum under it, plus not much of a lip anyway. I would just paint the entire wheel.

Re: Input needed on rim color..

hah why whould you not be able to polish it lol.
People polish the entire rim all the time.

And yeah I'm for sure saving up for some good suspension. I want it to feel stock even with it is lowered a bit.

I found a picture of what I want to do. I think I have my mind set.

I am wondering if the taped off the grey stock area and then painted the middle black.

Hey give it a try and let us know how it turns out.
