changing suspensions

SO I would like to change up the suspension in my 98 civic ex, front and rear sway bars, camber kit, all that good stuff and i was wondering how difficult it was an what is required in doing it, whether its an all day job or couple days, I dont like to have my car inactive for too long a time and also I need to know how difficult it is for a novice to do, I may get help from a friend but I'd rather do it myself than take my car to a mechanic.
