2000 Honda Civic Si wont start
My 2000 honda civic si wont start. Its completely stock except for the intake. Its sitting at around 126k and haven't done any changes in the last 1500 miles. I have it sitting in front of my house because I can't move it. So far since its been sitting there, my window has been broken and my dash has been completely destroyed. I was out of town for the holidays for a couple of days, and when I came back, I discovered that my driver window was shattered and my whole dash had been taken apart. I have an alarm in my car but can't really tell what happened since I was gone. I was talking to some of my neighbors about it but nothing. The worst thing is that, I live in the midwest so there was about 5 inches of snow in my car because of the broken window. For the last day, I have had been trying to figure what the problem is with my car so that I can go get a windows installed. I don't know much about cars, but I tried a couple of troubleshooting. I checked and there is fuel in the tank and its not frozen, I jumped it with my truck, so I know its not the battery, I will try and open the fuel line tomorrow to see if fuel is reaching the motor. When ever I try and start the engine, it cranks but doesn't turn on. After a couple of attempts, it starts to feel more lazy and the delay between cranks slows down. I want to say this started happening, in the first coldest day this year but im not 100% sure on that. Someone told me it can maybe be the fuel pump, but I don't have an idea on how to check that. What are some other troubleshooting tips you guys recommend?
Re: 2000 Honda Civic Si wont start
Cant really say to be honest. Check all of your wires to see if you have spark on each cylinder if you do then see if your getting fuel. When you put your car on accessory mode do you hear your fuel pump turning on?
