Hey, so this past week when iv gone out, ill be driving and ill shift into 3rd gear and my clutch will pop out or something.. its weird ill put it into third then i go to press on the gas, ill hear this low sound then the clutch pops into neutral and the engine will be revving from my foot being on the gas..

its only happened twice but i took it to my mechanic today and he said its my transmission and told me to go to this guy who can help

so i was wondering if you guys think he is right and it is my transmission b4 i head 40 minutes across town and it ends up not to be?

Yes, you have an issue with your transmission. It is repairable unless you let it go too long.
