Idle problems

Hey, I Have a 98 civic lx thats having idle problems. When i start it up in the morning it seems to idle very low almost to the point of being ruff, Around 550-600rpm. When it gets to normal operating temperature and i'm out driving around and get off the gas it will dip down to about 1000 rpm for a sec Then jump right back to 1500rpm and stay there? I've checked cable tension and all that it's all good. Check engine light isn't on. Any ideas on what i can try to fix this?

Thanks
Matt

Re: Idle problems

Check your vacuum lines and also your IACV connection. IACV is most likely the culprit, make sure it is plugged in!
