tough decision pt 2 lol

hey guys I'm back again... I've recently bought a 99 ex, sadly its auto , and to add insult to injury i believe it has a defective tranny. when i accelerate the engine revs up before it goes into the gear, sometimes with a jolt :s. Any ideas on whats causing the problem?

p.s. i have transmission fluid, it was the first thing i checked

like sometimes i can drive off and accelerate smoothly. but most times it doesn't. i heard civic trannys are known for this type of behavior, and even worst, it's costly to repair them. I'm considering droppin my tranny for a gear box.

Very costly, the honda dealership just quoted my 2500 to do a rebuild on myne, so i think im just gonna run it till it dies and then maybe sell the civic or find another auto to throw in it for cheap.
