Alright so I installed a magnaflow muffler on my 97 lx, and I presumed that an intake would sound nice with it. So I bought an injen intake made 4 an ex, but jus bought a 90 degree elbow. So it all works and sounds real nice BUT, at a certain point in acceleration I hear a real annoying whistle sound. It sounds like a sound a bad belt makes but I kno its not the belt. The noise was there before but not as noticable. Now its real loud. Any ideas???

i actually have the same problem when i hit usually 4500 rpm's i get a whistle going and its really strange ive actually had people ask me if my car was turbocharged i have no idea i mean it doesnt bother me but i just want to know what is causing it to whistle like that

I get the same noise ever since I installed my intake. Sounds like a squeal from a belt or something. Happens when I give some gas around 3k rpms. I have a 2000 si.

When I had my old 91 crx si, it made the same noise when I removed the resonator.

well i dont have a intake my motor is bone stock and i get the whistling sound still
