(newb) Can I use any 6th gen power steering in my 97 CIvic CX?
Hello, I'm new here. I just got a 1997 Civic CX a few weeks ago. I came here to try and get some answers.
I want to convert to power steering eventually so I was wondering if I could use any 6th gen Civic power steering system? Or are there variances for some reason.
Thanks.
P.S. if anybody knows where I can the parts I need and can tell me, It would be very much appreciated.

All the 6th gen Civic power steering systems are the same however, the biggest pain is that you will need to replace your entire steering rack. Also your gas mileage will suffer. Better off lifting weights if you're having trouble turning the wheel.

Well, it's not that I can't drive it the way it is now, it's just that I'm trying to procure parts for when I build up the car. It's going to be modeled after the EK9 somewhat but I'm planning on using an Integra power train. That's all the reason why I'm asking, here. I'm not planning on installing power steering in the car in it's current form, but power steering components are one of the first things I want to obtain before anything else.
