starting problems
starting problems
I installed a new head gasket in a 97 Civic SOHC VTEC because of low/no compression. Set timing up according to the book and it won't start unless the distributor is turned counterclockwise about 1/4 inch past the mounting holes. The crank sensor read 348.2 ohms and the limit is 350, but the others checked okay. once the car is started, you can turn the distributor back to the proper spot and it will idle, but not restart. No codes. Any suggestions?
