Re: o2 sensor

You're prolly gonna have to replace your O2 sensor.. My friend had a 00 si and he had a bad O2 sensor code and thats what he had to do. Kinda sucks because the O2 sensors on 99-00 si's run about $200 a piece.

at www.hondaautomotiveparts.com they run $180..

#27 and #40 on the drawing

assuming you're throwing a code for a bad o2 sensor..
what code are you throwing anyways?

Re: o2 sensor

dont know if the 00 si is similar to our cars, but with bolt ons like that usually you can get an o2 sim or just do the mechanical o2 fix. in our 7th gens if you have a cat delete exahust it sees that there is no cat and throws the code. the mechanical o2 fix is basically extending your o2 sensor out of the exhaust, preventing it from seeing too much gases making your car beleive there is a cat. the o2 sim fixes it electronically somehow. lol
