Lighten it up
Lets make a list of what we can take off of our civics to lighten them up even more then they already are. Im coming from a 1990 Infiniti M30 that was heavier then some SUV's. So far I was thinking of since I have a intake try taking off the weird plastic tubing that goes behind the bumper, and that is all I can think of so far. oh and I have a 99 ex

take a sawzall and cut the roof off. maybe the 1/4 panels and so on.
no im kidding if its daily driven i wouldnt worry about it b/c itll be loud as hell. but if you really really wanna do it take out the rear seats all the interior plastics strip the trunk and chisel away all the sound deading even then your maybe gonna save 150 200 lbs.

Yar. Unless its a track car, lightening up a DD is kind of pointless IMO. By the "lighter is better" mindset, you may as well only fill up to a 1/4 tank of gas. Think of how much 8 gallons of gas weighs. I'd rather do that than lose my interior, subs, and amps. Speed+comfort+tunes=happy 'foos. Whatever floats your boat though.

if ur car gets too light, in the rain u will slide right off the road if you aren't careful. Happened to my friend in his Del Sol. but you can remove the spare tire, and add a can of Fix-a-Flat.
