wings west lip kit

guyss need help on this im new on here this is my frist thread lol but the question is i have a 03 civic 2dr n i have a wings west lip kit n my side skirts stick on with 3m tape n screws but the tape is not really sticking tight its holding on but leaving a gap can anyone helpp me out ??? i also tryed heating it with a heat gun dont know what else to do thanks in advance

well the obvious. cleaned it real well and everything? and put pressure for awhile so it sticks. but other than that. if it was just poorly made then its not going to really stick. just my 2 cents.

OK
You MUST use the super heavy duty tape from HD. (Its 3M) A lot depends on the screw location of the bottom, front and rear mounts. ( my passenger side is fine but the drivers side keeps comming loose,)

yea my sides are the same way n yea i did use that tape the red 3m heavy duty i dident even screw the bottom up cause it would push it out even futher .. did you use a heat gun ?

No, I had them on good and took them off for winter in 06 and never got them right again

that sucks lol well i have my sides on all winter on so far ,putting the rims back on in march but ppl say that if u let them sit in the sun for a while they will shape to ur car better so im wait till it gets hot out n then maybe try again but did u screw ur bottoms up ?

the gap isnt because of the double stick tape is it? just my opinion, but i dont think that a heat gun is going to help. you could possibly try re-installing them.
