Metal line to clutch slave cylinder?

I can't find the answer to this.

I have an 02 Civic EX, standard trans. The line coming from the master cylinder is your standard rubber hose. But it doesn't go into the slave cylinder, it goes into a connector which a different metal line connects to, which then connects to the slave cylinder. And yet when I look online for new lines, I only find one, flexible, often braided line.

Where can I find the metal line, as this is the only part that is damaged? Or is it that any time someone replaces it, they instead do the entire line with one continuous, flexible line?

You can get a new hard line from the Honda dealer or make one out of brake line (much cheaper)

I believe you're talking about part 15 in the picture. Actual part number is 46960-S5A-A03, I show a price of $52. Item 16 is part number 46961-S5A-A01, says $41. Item 19 is part 46970-S5A-013, $12.

Check the condition of 15 while you're in there. I know on my old car it was getting pretty crusty but then I wrote the car off so I didn't have to worry about changing it any more

When I replaced my clutch, the 15yr old fluid was exactly same color as milk chocolate..

I used full bottle new fluid get it flowing mostly clear again.
