Clutch Slave Cylinder
Is there a stronger one out yet? I cannot find even a rebuild kit for the slave, I had to order a new one directly from Honda.
I know the 6th gens and the integras have some stronger slave cylinders that can withstand the torture of a stronger pressure plate, but their slave cylinder looks nothing like ours so I can't use one of those.

i havent seen any yet. Just thought id share that i had one hell of a problem with mine slipping all the time. After replacing the clutch a few times, we found that the slave cylinder line was semi-pinched. Replaced it and everything worked great.
I also had to order mine direclty from HONDA. And i also had it replaced at honda, needless to say it cost way to much. Mine went out before i went turbo. This part is not a high demand, so i really doubt that they will make and upgrade for it. We are better off trying rsx or 02si slave cylinder. . .

Well, I have found a slave cylinder rebuild kit that seems to work (for about 150 miles so far). It's BrakeBest part number CHK352151. It's the rebuild kit for the previous generation, but the internals of the slave cylinder appear to be identical. It includes the piston, internal seals, and the outside rubber boot for $10.79 here at O'Reilly's, but I know you can get BrakeBest parts at AutoZone and Napa.
Hopefully we'll get a stronger one here soon, otherwise the people needing a really beefy clutch pressure plate will have to replace their slave cylinders a lot more often. I'll keep this updated if I hear of anything.

Maybe, maybe not. Usually a bad slave cylinder leaks out all of the clutch fluid and won't push the cutch out.
If it is making noise, then you can take it off and grease it up, that costs about $1.00 in grease and about 20 min of your time. If you want, post back up and I'll scan/post the service manual pages on how to do it.
