D17a1 to D17a2

Hi guys! I know this is not the best engine but hey! I don't care I just want to have some fun and build my first project car! So my question is, if I put a D17a2 head on my D17a1 base, do I have to change my ecu?? Because I heard on other forums about a VAFC2 and I think it's the cheapest way to do this swap but my problem is how I wire my new D17a2 head with my D17a1 ecu and also with a VAFC2???

Thanks guys and sorry for my english I'm from Montreal in Canada
