honda civic 02 door actuator

i have Honda civic 2002 dx sedan. his back door rear driver, doesn't pop-up when i press unlock button on driver side door. all three door pop up (lock and unlock) but this one doesn't at all. i thought it is actuator problem so i bought one but it did not work also it mean the problem is not with the actuator. i tried this new actuator with other door and it work well. what can be the problem?

Re: honda civic 02 door actuator

Peel the rubber cover back and look, gently tug on each wire in the bundle see if any aren't attached

Re: honda civic 02 door actuator

If 3 power door locks work but one does not, and you have proven the electric lock motor is good, then it is a wiring problem..

The most likely place for a break is where the wires flex each time that door opens and closes.

I'd do continuity tests on that door harness.....I still think the break will be in the jamb area. Unplug the actuator, unplug the harness connector on the B pillar, and test to verify continuity of the two lock motor wires.

^^^For Ohms mostly..... the pulse would be very brief to measure voltage though.
