Just go slow and make sure you clear the AC lines and everything as it lifts out.

Having pulled the motor in my 03 many times, I suggest hooking your lift onto the motor, dropping the trans through the bottom, then hoisting the motor out the top. Takes just a little longer, but it makes it much safer for you and the parts that like to get hung up, much more space to work with.

I've taken engine/tranny from my 02 as an assembly out from the top with no issues. Just my 2 cents.

when dropping it back in, go slowly, make sure you don't pinch anything. That's what I did, and it went it with no issue.
