Missing AC Line to Head Bracket
Missing AC Line to Head Bracket
Had the timing belt and pump replaced (only 2K on the failed one) The last owner had it done but failed to have the tensioner done also which loosened up and then gave me the headache. My question: there is a small bracket that attaches to the low pressure line off the AC and then to the head which I cannot find nor identify to be able to order. Attached is a picture from the right side looking across to the Had the timing belt and pump replaced (only 2K on the failed one) The last owner had it done but failed to have the tensioner done also which loosened up and then gave me the headache. My question: there is a small bracket that attaches to the low pressure line off the AC and then to the head which I cannot find nor identify to be able to order. Attached is a picture from the right side looking across to the AC and alt. The AC line is the light aluminum line running left to right. The bracket bolts into the small tab off the line as seen just to the left of picture center just above the black alt cable. IT then bolts into the head and larger AC bracket below. Anyone know/have a diagram with the bracket identified? Anyone have a bracket? :-) Part #?

Is it #11?

Its hard to tell from the diagram, since the low pressure line doesn't even have the welded clamp or the joint that obviously exists on the low pressure side (#3). It's has to be somewhere in this diagram though. Looks like #10 is the clamp that appears to be welded onto the pipe and #11 bolts right to that.... If it IS #11, you're better off going to Home Depot and buying some aluminum bar, bend it and cut it and drill the hole openings. Done for 10 bucks, Honda wants $70 for that little thing!

Bracket #13 is what's missing in the picture.
And the 2 bolts that go with it, a pair of #29 would work.
See if your mechanic still has it laying around?

Thanks a ton for the diagram! (mechanic said he had no parts left when I asked). I do believe it's #13, only because of the shape I've seen in some paused YouTube videos. No way I'm paying a $70 price for sure. Not a surprise though from a dealer. I'm going to keep it on my misc list of parts for my next bone yard trip. Will def make a temp part to keep the line from vibrating. Mondo cudos to all those who take the time to offer assistance and respond to questions!
