es1 jerks when the engine is cold

hi all, i bought this es1 only last week. it jerks once or twice each morning on D or R then runs smoothly throughout the day. it happens when i have the car stopped for a while. i changed the fluid which was very low and dirt but still nothing changed.
is anything wrong with the cvt gearbox? my mec said if i replace the valve box the problem might go. what should i do? i dont want to replace the gearbox as i cant afford right now. please help. thanks

Your cars over there are probably a bit different from what we get in North America.



It could be normal, it could be abnormal. (If it drives otherwise fine, it's likely OK.)

What's the mileage (or KMs) on the car?

Hondas CVT trans usually feels funny to people that aren't used to how they drive.

You may need to locate another similar Civic with a GOOD CVT trans to test drive for comparison.
