The current part number listed on Majestics website is 37820-PLR-A13. It's for an 05 EX manual transmission and list for $417 plus shipping. It's piece #5.

I would personally go for the same part number that's in the vehicle. It's a computer. I'm sure the A14 or A15 won't don't anything the A13 can't do for you.

**** sucks i had my car illegally towed last this morning lol
so now i gotta worry about what they might have F*!KD up on it

they are gonna get hell from me for illegally towing my car and holding it for ransom

Does anyone know how easy it is to remove my current ECU to have it ready for honda to just install and program?

its cheaper if i have it removed and ready then juts get it towed there..
i dont wanna mess nothing up lol


is there a DIY or someone who can kinda instruct me on what to remove to get it out?

bolts, wires, clips, etc...
i know its under my glove box and i can see it but have no idea where to start

Nuts and bolts LOL. Get a flashlight, a 10mm socket and long extension and ratchet....maybe a magnet on a stick...

If the original ECM will still run the engine decent and you can drive it without getting mowed down by angry people in traffic, I'd drive it to the dealer and save the tow bill (that's just me, my dealer is only about 6 miles from my house).

Pull the PCM out of the dash, then reconnect the wiring and let it dangle, then all they have to do is drive it in the shop and swap the new in and program it. Beats pushing a dead car around the parking lot for sure.

I forgot to reply and let everyone know.... (some people private messaged me asking)
The new ECU did fix my battery light issue.

Ordered ECU: 37820-PLR-A13 off eBay for $80 free shipping.
then had it swapped & programmed at Honda for $195.

i was told i could use
37820-PLR-A13
37820-PLR-A14
37820-PLR-A15 ( newest model )
