Half Axle Issue
Per my "Engine Swap" Story, after swapping an engine on my son's 2002 Civic, I was working on replacing the driver-side swaybar link when I heard this funny noise and noticed that the driver side half axle boot closest to the transmission was spitting out grease.
It appears that the strap/clamp thingy that is suppose to hold it to the axle boot broke off and/or came loose, and the boot has pulled in on itself, and is spitting grease.
Any recommendations? Should I consider replacing just the boot, or just get a new axle for $50-65?
