03 Civic EX 1.5" Drop 215-45-17 Will it rub?

I have a 03 Civic Ex Sedan with 17" s48 Sacchi with 215-45-17 (Not sure if the offset is +40 or +42)
Now my question is will I have rubbing problems or should I be okay in putting 1.5'' drop springs?
I been looking around online & some people say it will rub & others say it won't..?

I highly doubt it...it was running 215/45/17's on a 3-3.5" drop and it only rubbed in the front over large bumps...so having twice the clearance as me would lead me to believe that you won't have a problem.

I think Krud has that size tire and he was rubbing but I don't know how low he went on his coilovers. An inch and half isn't a huge drop.

What springs are you putting in?

Edit: krud has 225-45.

I have set of Eibach Sportline's that I am going to be selling if you are interested. Same drop and Eibach is a well known name. I don't know who makes DNA's springs. I also have a camber kit, which you will need and struts which you will also need.

Just throwing it out there as an idea.

Re: 03 Civic EX 1.5" Drop 215-45-17 Will it rub?

1.5" is nothing, like stated above. I'm lowered a couple inches (don't know exactly how far.. Downside to using adjustable coilovers.. lol), running 215/45-17's with a ET42, only rub when the steering wheel is locked to one side and I flip a bitch too fast. Even then, it's just a little bit of (inner) fenderwell lining that rubs, not the fender itself
