How to hardwire a 12V device to the interior fuse box?
I purchased a dash cam and need to hardware it to my 2002 Civic EX. It came with a Power Magic box that will disable the camera if the battery voltage drops to low, and the box has three wires coming out of it:
1. ACC (+)
2. BATT (+)
3. GND
If my understanding is correct, then the ACC wire should connect to a pin that is only on when the vehicle is not turned off, the BATT wire should be connected to a pin that is always on (even when the vehicle is off), and GND should connect to a ground pin.
Can I connect these to someplace in the interior fuse box?
Thanks for your help!

Yes you are correct. You can connect the ACC wire to the ignition harness so that when the key is turned to position 2 it will turn on (like the radio). The BATT I would run to exterior fuse box or straight to the battery +. Ground you can attach to the chassis (bare metal) somewhere.

I would just add them to the interior fuse box. No need to run under the hood. There are several ways to add connections to the interior box. Just do a search for car fuse tap. There are ones that wrap around the tip of the fuse and the one I like actually slides over the leg of the fuse. Both provide a tab to slide a connector over. Then just ground the last wire to the chassis somewhere.
