So I pumped $10 bucks shell gas which is 3.69 per gallon this morning. And I think I only drove for about 2hours and half. It was empty again. I am really confused. Is there anything wrong with my car or its just normal? (Ps: my car is 2002 Honda Civic Ex Coupe 1.7L 4-cyl) Thank you

You gotta provide some more info. Was the tank emtpy when you filled up?

If it was, 2.5 hours of driving with only let's say about ~90 miles (about 10 bucks worth) to spare.

It makes sense that you're out of gas....

so you filled in only 2.7 gallons of gas and wondered why it got used up after 2.5 hrs of driving? lol not sure what to tell you. next time fill the tank to full, drive til the gas light comes on, then fill up to full again. divide your total miles by the gallons of gas it took to fill up and you get the miles per gallon. number of miles driven/gallons of gas used = mpg.

probably because the gas station didn't have time to replace the dollar amount sign and it was really more money then what you thought you put in.
