Newbie Question: Instrument Cluster Change

Is it possible to swap out the instrument cluster on my 01 Civic DX? I like looking at a Tachometer when driving and mine currently has the basic instrument cluster.

Is it just plug and play? Any coding necessary?

Re: Newbie Question: Instrument Cluster Change

Should be plug and play, especially since you're sticking with an 01-02 gauge cluster. The mileage will be different though; all that is stored within the cluster itself.

Someone that has the knowledge, chime in though: does the dx/lx ecu have a tach signal wire? I'm not entirely sure if it does or not..
