Re: 03CivicEX4dr-FuelFilter&Strainer Installed-Car stalls-wont start

In being non-accpeting of the real issue (transmission is bad) i have it postponed long enough & i am of the feeling that i have reached that maximum utility of a bad tranny by running it so long and the time has come now to have the tranny fixed.

The last run on the straw was to for the first time ever, change the tranny fluid & postpone the tranny repair just a little longer. (in todays economy, thats the best i am able to do).

There are varied opinions about changing/ not changing transfluid & also OEM/non-OEM. From my own personal experience, all my prior tranny re-builds were with NON-OEM fluids (thats for sure).i think by the time second re-built came the z1 was discontinued.

sometimes the best thing to do is cut your losses and start over. you can get into a big money pit trying to chase problems like this.
