01 LX did not come from the factory with keyless.
Someone would have had to buy it as an accessory installation.
Find the instructions for installing keyless entry, and see if it is already installed in your car. If it is, then all you should need is some fobs and to program them.
Instructions for an 03 look somewhat similar. http://techinfo.honda.com/rjanisis/pubs/AI/AII24178.pdf
