No AC after replacing radio

Hello fellow Civic owners.

I have acquired a 2001 Civic (1.7L) from my mother who retired just recently. Currently, it has 37,XXX on the clock.

Just recently, I have replaced the radio with an OEM CD Player to replace the bare bones OEM AM/FM radio. Everything was straightforward because the radio was plug and play. I acquired the code from a local (Phoenix, AZ) dealership. The radio works.

I turn my AC blower on and pressed the AC switch. Switch will not light up and no cold air, just ambient (warm) air coming out of the vents. The rear defroster and recirculation buttons light up and work.

I checked all fuses, both underneath the knee bolster and under the hood. All seems well. I even changed around the relays that is located in the fuse box under the hood. In addition, I went back in to double check if I have missed any connectors. Nothing.

I am at my wits end about this. Any help is appreciated.
