I have a couple days off in a row so i decided to have some time for myself.
I am so annoyed how dirty my engine bay is so i decided to tuck the bay a little bit.

Here's some glimpse of what i went through.


Winter steelies!


Almost stepped on the soldering gun. I'm a bit of a mess.


Measuring the wires for the wipers. Lol. And some of my tools.


I decided to run the line for the driver side through the front. I don't know why....




I put the Fuse Box here. I might change the location, don't really like it.



Here's the passenger side. I know its dirty as hell. I'll give it a shower when its all completely done.


Driver side. I will relocate the abs in the near future, at the same time as the brake tuck I'm going to attempt. That's a baseball bat holding the hood open in case you're wondering.
And don't mind the wire from the alternator, just pretend it's not there. lol.





That's it for now. Sorry about the mess in the bay, I'm gonna tuck the engine harness as well in the future. I'm doing this for my own experience.

Looking good. I'm just questioning the practicality of having the fusebox in the passenger floorboard. I would have put it in the glovebox so I wouldn't have to worry about the passenger kicking it. I'm not even gonna talk about butt-connectors, that's a whole other thread. lol

*Put a zip-tie on that tape at the wire loom connections and it will stay together forever.

Thanks. I didn't use any butt connectors. Every extended wire was soldered and shrink wrap. I don't even like butt connectors. Lol.
I did put a zip-tie on the connections, specially on when they split to places.
And yea, it was an odd place to put the fuse box there. I'll put in the glove box like you said. Thanks.

Sorry. Thought those were butt-connectors but, on further examination I see they are heat-shrink. It's shaping up real nice, keep it up.

Should be same gauge as the battery cables.

If you're looking to relocate the battery just go buy jumper cables of the same gauge. Way cheaper than buying 40ft of 6 gauge @ $5/ft.

I know its overkill but I used 0 gauge from the battery, 2 from the alternator to the fuse box. I have a high amp if that matters. I wanted to make sure everything flows. Lol.

I can get some 4 gauge for pretty cheap. Do you think that would be good? @lazlong 4 gauge wire from Advanced Auto is $1.88 a foot and $1.89 where I work at haha. $5 for 6 gauge is a rip off

Holy crap man good for you for tackling this. It seems far too complicated for me. Too easy to hook the wrong wire up lol best of luck with it it looks great.

Yea something that's a bit too tedious for me to attempt unless I have a month or so to find out where I will have messed up and fix it lol. When you actually have the patience for it, it looks great! Good job.

Thanks, man. I already purchased stuff from my brake tuck and the relocation of that huge ABS Module. I wanna keep the ABS. It just feel safer, haha.
Can't wait to start, I'll keep it updated.


It's not too bad. It was my first attempt and I didn't really mess up anything. But I'm pretty OCD when it comes to things so I took it slowly but surely, couple days was enough.
