Performance clutch

I have been driving my Civic on the stock clutch for 2 years in April. It has just recently started slipping. I need a drag/street clutch that has a nice grab and can handle 500+ HP, I know I do t have it yet, but I will soon.

I have heard that ACT clutches are really nice, but it says that I have to have an Acura RSX Type S fly wheel... Do those fit in my stock clutch housing?

I could really use some insight on this issue for I have been looking for a whole and not being able to run my baby to her potential is killing me!! Lol!

Thank you.

P.S - I have a Greddy Turbo Kit with Stage 2 Intercooler pushing 6.5 lbs with 238 HP to the wheel.

Re: Performance clutch

A greddy kit won't make 500+ ever and neither will a k20a3. Don't blow a ton of cash on a clutch for a build you're planning, because we all know how often those plans actually progress to the next level.

Re: Performance clutch

Not saying I am going to stay with the Greddy Turbo all the way and there will be a lot of things that change throughout time, but I have to have a clutch that can hold the 285 HP to crank and 238 HP to the wheel right now, mind you that is only on 6.5 lbs of boost, I am wanting to run about 15-20 in the future. I am looking to spend around $500 for a clutch that will have the grab I need and the strength to hold and maintain the power I have and may in the future, I have already dumped thousands into the car, I plan on keeping it.
