Question and take it easy on me I'm pretty much a noob.

I have seen a great number of 7th gen information here. But I have yet to find anyone or section in this forum where a 7th fan swaps an Si motor in the 7th gens place. So before we get into a huge discussion about it can any of you guys tell me in which section of the forum is the appropriate info regarding
1 can it even be done?
2 where do I find the info for doing it?
I love the style of a 7th gen but have simply gotten tired of the lacky *** SOHC this car has.
So get back to me.

The Si engine is a k20a3, swapping it in is no different than any other k20.

The xproduction diy xRiceboyx linked to is a k20a3 swap.

This is pretty awsome, I have had the chance to pick up an Si motor for $350 from my sisters exgirlfriend. Im going to see how much it would all cost to have that wedged into my Civic EX. Im certain it will be quite a maskeraid party. Sure was a cheap find just like her ***. LOL. That motor only has 60,000 miles on it. Girl got hit in the *** from a truck doing 45 and in the rear quarter from a car doing around 40ish. Frickin totaled that car but the baby in the button was untouched and because we go back I got the hook up.

Mounts, wiring harness, k20a ecu and all the little parts should total around $2500-3000 if you shop carefully; the pricing really hasn't come down much from the original prices listed in the DIY unfortunately. I have a k20a3 sitting in my closet for that very reason.

Great not to bad. It'll take some time but ill get the ball rolling on it. Think im going to work on the suspension first though. The motor I have now is in very good shape and I love beating the **** out of it. As I see things on line or in the travels I often make ill get some of the pieces I might need. Dont think the K craze is going away anytime soon.
