I was reading around about chassis codes, and some dude was all "EM2's are the most unmoddable performance wise" then later on saying throw a k in there (im well aware of k swaps) or a boost and they are fun. What did he mean by that? I reeeeally hope he didnt mean Nos. cheeeesey...

Turbo? When using turbo's people can tune then by upping or lowering the psi. PS i know nothing about turbo's so you'll have to wait for someone else to chime in

Boost is basically turbo or any other type of forced induction. The dude has no idea what he's talking about. There was a member on here that was able to get over 400 hp on the D17 A1 engine. Not even the v-tec-e A2 head was swapped on from what I understand. You just need to be willing to spend lots of money on it.

well thats legit. I have just a stock D17A1, is it even safe to throw a Turbo on it? Would it blow up lol. Engine work is not my Forte.. I know little to nothing..

Nah, he had an a2 head. If you're talking about Andy, that is. An he was rockin 489 whp if I remember correctly. He needed the a2 head to run the crowed stage 3 camshaft

ah, different guy then. Andyman had a d17a1 with an a2 head, rockin 489whp and 360ft-lbs of torque. That's the most I've seen from a d17

Boost is that thing that small children use to buckle in properly, slang for booster seat. Throw in a whiny kid and you drive faster, therefore a boost or also known as booster seat.
