Need help with painting headlights

I recently spray painted my headlight housing black and I was wondering if i should also spray the part in the square black to. Just some opinions would be nice. And also, i got a little spray paint on some chrome that i didnt want, would what be good to remove it without rubbing the chrome off ?

Feedback would be much appreciated

I would say no on that. Only because you may need that reflection for the proper lighting. Also did you look into buying them that way? Its going to be hard to seal them without getting moisture in them. I think it looks good the way you have it though.

Yeaaa i guess. Yes i have, but these are just temporary i just wanted to try it. Im just saving up some money right now. Btw i already sealed it, it seems to be fine. I also used silicone plus the original seal to put them back together.

there is truth in this because in order to do a good job on painting headlights, you need:

1. the painting skills (and that only comes with time, technique, and practice) very very rare will anyone do it well the first time, especially with a can.
2. proper spray gun, compressor, filters...etc

its possible to paint with a can but very hard unless ur skilled.

as for ur question, yes, paint it. it will give a look of separation between the low and high beams

Yeaaa I realized it wasnt going to come out perfect since it was my first time. But oh well at least i gained some experience. And thanks for the input, i was kinda leaning to painting that oart anyways, i think it will stand out more. Also, i kinda messed up on the chrome, would aluminum foil tape be a good alternative to cover it up instead of trying to remove some of the paint.
