control arm bushings.

Hey everyone,

Looking to replace my front end bushings with something better than stock. Is energy suspension bushings any good or would you recommend something else.

Thanks

Energy suspension bushings are excellent, they're a great upgrade from stock. It's also a good idea to order the energy suspension motor mount bushings, the front one is prone to breaking and clunking like the control arm bushings are.

I've ordered all mine from energysuspensionparts.com and they have great service.

ES is the way. the motormounts might dampen ur car TOOOOOO much and might turn ur car into a vibrator.

Which is a useful tool when trying to get a girl warmed up on the way home from the bar.

If that's not your thing though then you just don't install all of them.

Re: control arm bushings.

i had just the front es motor mount installed bc i was affraid that both would be too much vibration and after a week i had to take it off bc it was just too much for me but if my car wasnt a daily driver or i didnt care about ride quality and i was goin for performance all the way at any cost i would def have them on. it def made my acceleration a lot quicker. you dont notice how much stock mounts dampen and how much your are losing till you put these inserts in.. and the positive shift feel was a plus too.

Re: control arm bushings.

i too put the front ES engine mount on and at first it was fairly noticable as you said, but now after a year it seems to have "broken-in" and now i cant feel anything different than stock. it does not even shake with the a/c on anymore. im a bit disappointed lol
