compatability of 6th to 7th generation parts?

Are there any drive train parts that are compatable between the 6th and 7th gen civics?
I have a wrecked 97 civic in my yard with a runing engin and transmission, and now the transmission on my 02 civic just went out. What are the chances i could swap these and it work?

I am new here and will welcome all input. Now off to read the diy of transmission rebuild.

Manual trannys aren't bad, just keep everything in order.
