i have an 01 civic thats been under construction for awhile and now that its ready to be put back together we cant get it to fire -its started a couple of times and ran smooth but now it just turns over- anybody got a clue how to solve this,thanks.

Did you check to see if your getting spark?

im not sure how to use this site but yes its getting fuel and power up to the coil tube or whatever its called

Are you using the original factory key with chip? Make sure it is not a copy of a key that only works on the trunk.

yes as i said we got it started twice it has some thing to do with the 4 wires that hook up to the alt,black/yellow-white/(red,blue,green), the wires on the alt plug are yellow/white,aqua/pink,white/black, the white/black is piggy backed to a single plug on the alt.,we dont know which goes to what,we get power up to the coil it just doesnt send spark.

Maybe your not explaining it well enough but, this quote says to me that you have bad coil(s).
