Call up a couple scrap yards, I bet you could get a k20z3 from a smaller one that wants to move inventory quickly for $3000 and see it running. Mention that you need the RSX parts and the transmission too, and that you'd buy it all from them for the right price you'll get the best price possible.

The only time I would consider buying from a online JDM seller is if I wanted a k20a.
Alright. Will do. Thanks.

I'll keep looking. What do you guys think of these so far?
1 day is not nearly enough to get a ball-park on prices?!? get serious... that way, the first frozen bolt you get at, you will be back here saying "mooomy, what do i do now?!?" - do an engine swap only if you have the ***** to DO IT (in caps in purpose).
Internet help can only help you if YOU willing to help YOURSELF, dammit! A guy that can't decide for his own gender will not be able to swap. Period!

There was this fella that thought his problem was trans, and we thought so, but after another guy actually drove the car, it could have been his wheel bearing. All depends on YOUR input. Period again...
GIT a GRIP! kids...
take the freaking car to a shop and let the pros deal with it. you not nearly enough to DO IT.

I see your point. I really wasn't planning on doing the swap myself. Just because it's my only car, and I really can't afford to mess it up.
