introducing my civic i want opinions about it
Re: introducing my civic i want opinions about it
Yes its due to cost.. Lower end civics will have unpainted mirrors handles etc so they can sell the civ for less. Higher end trims like the ex comes with sunroof and paint mirrors handles etc..

On another note, lowering and maybe lip kit would make a huge difference. Get rid of that gap!

dx is alot lighter without hundreds of pounds of accessories. and abs takes longer than non abs to stop the car. only difference is you might have some steering control with abs.

nice wheels and nice rear drum brakes... lower - it looks like a cavalier with the wheels and the stock suspension. no, these dampers will not live long if lowered. Tokiko blues at the least.
Also, ABS are good in freaking freezing temps...
but i know guys that can stop safely and in shorter distance than an ABS. but requires driving skills.

Well my plastic/guard/shield thing came loose while I was driving last week and now my ABS light is on. I didn't know what to do with the hanging plastic so I just pushed it all back into place, sorta. Now I've got the weight without the advantage.

Re: introducing my civic i want opinions about it
actually, as long as all wheels are spinning at similar speeds, the ABS will not kick in.
If you hit a slippery thing with one side, that side will try to lock (change in speed), while the other side will still be spinning - that makes the ABS reduce the pressure on the wheels that are trying to lock. So, no, if the slippery cndition is too high, you could have ABS in even without the pedal being pressed too much.
And don't ask me what happens with complete ice and all wheels locks - don't know the answer to that
