I have a civic 03 lx, the AC stopped working about 4 weeks ago, I checked different forums and tried to check the things for my self( like the motor, fuse, transmitter, and all seem to be fine). Last night I tried to turn the AC on an it turn on(cold and heater), today it was Working in the morning, in the afternoon I was using the AC and then it stopped working.
Any ideas wat it could be?

You might need to check a few things since mine stopped working some time back. It would work in the morning when I started the car first and then stopped after about 10-15 mins. Started around the beginning of spring and got worse as the outside temps went up.

So, to begin, check if you have enough R-134a, make sure the pressures don't drop beyond the recommended point once the car is warmed up. If possible check for any leaks using the stuff they sell in Autozone (or which ever place).
Then check the low pressure and high pressure switches for continuity.

If all this is fine, you should check the gap between the compressor and the clutch when hot and cold with a feeler gauge and check that the distance is normal. This was what my problem was and I wasted time and money on changing other things when they were fine.

Let me know if all of this is fine. Then we can do some electrical troubleshooting if required.
