Meant to post here instead of "Tech Chat".

Should I just take a cut off wheel to it instead of wrench? Will the flange even seperate?

sorry pic quality not great.

Omg looks like a piece of the Titanic, try a wrench if that dont work cut it. Looks like you may not even be able to get a wrench on it.

downpipe to midpipe flange? Soak it in hell wd40, PB blaster, liquid wrench, etc., for a while, then try to break 'em loose

it could definitely use lube, probably something heck stronger than wd40. something that penetrates. also try vice grips instead of a wrench and a rubber mallot. if that doesn't work, the saw it is.

Just save yourself the trouble/time and just cut those suckers off it takes like 60 seconds per bolt with an air powered cutoff tool.

i agree. youre going to waste money on products, waste your time, bash and cut your knuckles up, and end up frustrated before you finally cut them off. just use your grinder and save all the trouble. you wont get those off with any tool. besides, even if you did, you cant reuse that garbage anyway, youd have to get new ones.

Thanks for the info. Yea its the converter to resonator/midpipe flange. Im not gonna spray the last of liquid wrench I have left on these. Just gonna cut. Harbor Freight has a sale on 3in. pneumatic cut off tool for 12.99.

The exhaust manifold to downpipe bolts look to be in better shape, I can see the threads but dont know if they'll come off easy. I've been spraying them for a couple days.

Prodresurgence will become famous soon enough
Re: Will these rusty nuts come off? Pic included

those bolts are pressed into the flange, so you'll need to cut the nut off the smash it out or drill it out.
