depending on how much boost you're planning on running, getting a walbro 255LPH pump and high flowrate injectors will make do..

edit: wait.. how much research have you done before you decided you're going to boost it?

yea...if you're expecting to be able to adjust fuel pressure, you must to a fuel return conversion.

wear can i get a Fuel Pressure Reg from and one of my friends say get a boost sensative on wear can i find one of them too and how much..i want to run like 5 to 8 psi

If you want to be able to utilize the FPR, you need a return style fuel conversion. Otherwise, it'll be useless to you. With 5-8 psi, you can get away with the pump and probably RSX-S injectors. Not so sure on the injector part, though.

There's a lot of members here not even running the walbro 255lph pump, just bigger injectors.. When I was boosted (although only 2.5psi due to a wastegate actuator problem), I just installed some RSX-S injectors and was more than fine.. As long as you can tune it properly, you should be fine.. assuming the injectors are enough for the boost level you want.

But seriously, how much research have you done before deciding to go turbo? That was a serious question.

You might want to do a LOT more research so you don't end up spending a **** ton more money fixing stuff. Trust me, I've spent at least $4000 on my car in boost equipment alone, and that boost setup lasted all of a year and a half.

And your friends' cars obviously aren't d17 Hondas, are they? Engines, especially the d17 vs older d- and b- series engines, behave a LOT differently than other engines do.

they got d15 motors...i got a ebay turbo kit brand new.idk y everbody tellin me to get a fpr i am goin to get on no matter just to be safe.just got my oil pan done today...do u no any website wear my can get parts of the d17

the d17 has a returnless fuel system, the fuel pressure is maintained by a spring somewhere near the fuel pump assembly inside the gas tank. due to the returnless nature, even if you try to add more pressure to the fuel, nothing will happen. the only way to correctly utilize a fuel pressure regulator, such as the aeromotive a1000, is to modify the returnless fuel system into a return fuel system. meaning excess fuel is sent back to the fuel tank instead of the system the stock fuel system uses.

the aftermarket fuel pressure regulator you're looking to buy can create a rising rate fuel pressure so that for every pound of boost you run, the regulator automatically adds one pound of fuel pressure.

without doing the fuel return conversion, you are wasting your money by buying the fuel pressure regulator.

i dont think i can be any clearer than that. i'm done.

I say sell the ebay kit and save up for a better kit. I believe it will be worth it in the long run. Also doing some more research, and realising how much this is really going to cost you in both time and money. By the posts in this thread I dont think you are ready to boost your car just yet.

i wont go as far as riceboy did though i agree wit him. u need to research an plan for boost. ebay kits equal blown motors. if they boost at all. my buddy got one for his tc an the turbo was seized. 800 clams down the drain. b 4 u boost look into it. u have a choice. do it half *** now an spend a bit of cash and end up spending a mountian of money to fix a blown motor or do it rite the first time .

DUDE!!! DO NOT BOOST your car!!!! You are definetly not ready! And if your friends knew anything about Hondas they would tell you the same! They must be Mustang owners. Anyway, there is alot of basic stuff that you need to know about our year, make and model of car. Honda went above and beyond to make sure the EM2 was completely different from all the Civics before. Research man, its not hard, and it will keep you from going out and looking dumb at the track when your engine blows pushing 8 psi!!!
