A/C squeak

I own a 2002 Honda Civic EX 4dr with 167k miles. Recently I am having a problem with the A/C. When i turn on the A/C while driving and as the fan turns on to cool the radiator, it makes a loud squeaking noise that can be heard with the windows closed. This just started happening recently. Does anyone have this problems.

Any suggestion or idea of what the problem might be.

are you sure its the fan and not the belt ??? mine would squeak like crazy when i turned on the AC until i tightened the belt.

Where would that be located at? I'll check that out first because I have no clue at the moment.

there is a wing nut directly below the alternator tighten that rite up but it is a pain to get to you need long pliers to get in there and its still a bitch.
