I was wondering how I can tell what engine I have in my new car? Its an 03 Civic LX 1.7L. Is that a D17A1 or something else?

The dx/lx has the non-vtec 1.7L engine (D17A1)

The US EX/Canadian Si has the vtec 1.7L engine (D17A2)
