Help me disable the alarm.

I cannot remember for the life of me, the procedure to disable the factory alarm of my 2001 HX.

Can you tell me the step by step?

Thanks

Re: Help me disable the alarm.

Hi, need your help again to disable this PITA. Seems that the previous instructions were removed. Can you please PM me about this?

2001 Civic HX. It has the valet button above the hood latch and the red LCD light.

Thank you

Re: Help me disable the alarm.

Not sure what type of alarm you have but try this.
Insert your key and turn it to the ignition position (not start), then press the valet switch.
